Dashboard Deployment &
Maintenance
Deployment and
Maintenance comprise the
final phase of a dashboard
project. In this phase
we document deployment
practices, user help, and
maintenance procedures.
We then deploy the solution
and provide on-going
maintenance or provide
training so the client can
maintain the solution with
internal resources. |

|
Document & Deploy
Prior to deploying the
dashboard solution, we create
a set of solution documents
that include deployment and
maintenance plans. In
some cases, customers also
prefer to have a set of help
documents written to address
various technical and
non-technical aspects of the
system.The deployment
process can either be
facilitated with an internal
team and remote support or
with an on-site BrightPoint
engineer. The goal in
this phase, is to get the
system up and running and
make sure that the client is
comfortable repeating the
deployment procedure in the
event that disaster recovery
is needed. |

User Training
Most enterprise dashboard
solutions offer many new and
different views into
business data that the end
user has not seen before,
therefore we recommend
formal user training to help
socialize the dashboards and
make sure the end user is
getting maximum benefit from
the solution.
We work directly with
internal stakeholders to
help create a user training
program that is most often
facilitated through internal
HR or business teams. |

Maintenance
After the dashboard solution
had been deployed, we
perform a detailed review of
the maintenance plan with
the client to ensure
their ability to maintain
system availability,
reliability, and performance. These
procedures include data
archival, system backups,
user maintenance and system
tuning.This maintenance
plan can either be
facilitated directly by the
client or outsourced on as
as-needed basis. |
