		BrightPoint Consulting brings over 20 years of software development experience to it's development and testing discipline.  Custom software development projects have a reputation of never being finished on time or on budget. There is a major reason for this occurrence, and it because
most firms spend a majority of their time "coding" solutions and minority of their time focusing on the proper architecture and testing paradigms.

At Brightpoint Consulting we don't start development until we have a documented design and have written test cases that validate that design.  Prior to undertaking a new project, any technical risk areas are addressed with a technical proof-of-concept (POC).  These POC's are used to mitigate risk and ferret out any potential technical obstacles prior to starting the complete development effort. 

After all POC's have been completed each developer then will code application functionality to a pre-written test case and validate each piece of code to that test case.  This allows for a predictable and stable development process that maintains a high level of software quality and minimizes  project delays.

The end result of using this disciplined approach is lower cost and higher quality software.  We are so confident in both our design and development disciplines that we often will often offer our clients fixed bids for both of these phases, thus mitigating all risk of cost over-runs.
