Creating your KPI's:

At the core of any dashboard solution are the key performance indicators (KPI) that drive your daily business decisions.  Creating the correct KPI's is the most important step in designing a successful dashboard design.

We have developed a unique requirements gathering process that allows you to "start anywhere and go everywhere" in collecting the business requirements needed to build your KPIs.  Using our KPI Requirements Wheel, we can quickly flush out detailed requirements from even the highest level vision statement. 

Once we have created a KPI Requirement Wheel for each KPI we will then publish the results to a private password protected area of the website.  These results will be available for you to view for the next 30 days.
 

Prototyping a Dashboard:

If you already have a good understanding of the types of KPI's and metrics that are important to your dashboard project we will choose a select few and use them as the basis of our functional prototype.

We will build this prototype using the Business Objects Crystal Xcelsius data visualization tool, allowing you to create interactive metrics and support analytics in the form of gauges, charts, graphs and other data visualization elements.

This dashboard will then be published to a private password protected area of the website.  You will be able to view and demo the dashboard for the next 30 days.
 

Architecting a Dashboard Solution:

If you are interested in exploring potential architectures and integration technologies for your dashboard solution, we can help you design an architectural framework and technology roadmap

We will help you to define your integration points and data sources by finding out where key information lies within the organization.  Once this is done, we will help you to design an architecture that can integrate your source data into your dashboard solution.  Many times, we will have multiple data feeds coming from CRM, ERP, or custom applications.  We can even help you to integrate ad-hoc data sources such as excel spread sheets or .csv files.

The end result of this process will be a high level architectural diagram (similar to the one above) which will then be published to a private password protected area of the website.  You will be able to view this diagram for the next 30 days.
